My art is about re-imagining vintage objects and showing their beauty in a new light. I've been collecting random objects for years before realizing what I would do with them - I only knew that I had to have them. Assemblage was my initial passion, and mosaics followed. I often combine them when the art calls for it.

 

My love of animals, especially dogs, has inspired me to create art both celebrating them and mourning their loss. Not coincidentally, dog is God spelled backward -- hence the spiritual aspect of my work that celebrates gods and goddesses. The use of jewelry in many of my pieces is a tribute to my grandmother, who was an ardent aficionado and fervent accumulator. Each of my artworks is unique --- one-of-a-kind.
